Billy is a 1983 graduate of Water Valley High School. After a successful career as a machinist and millwright, Billy retired from Resolute Forrest Products in Grenada, MS, to pursue his calling to the funeral business. 


Billy served his two years of apprenticeship here at Seven Oaks Funeral Home with the plan to one day take ownership. After receiving his funeral director’s license in June 2020, Billy fulfilled his plan to become the owner of Seven Oaks Funeral Home on January 1, 2021, as the company president and managing director.


Billy was ordained into the Gospel Ministry in 2005 and has served as a pastor in two local churches until his calling into the funeral business. He is active in his community, serving in his church at Sylva Rena Baptist Church, as well as the local Rotary Club. In his spare time, he enjoys working on and showing classic cars. Billy and his wife Emily have two children and three grandchildren.
