Tammy Ree Adams Thompson, age 56, departed to her heavenly home on February 29, 2024 at her residence in Water Valley after an extended battle with cancer. She was born July 28, 1967 to the late Gerl and Carolyn Adams in Water Valley.
Tammy was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church. She worked in healthcare until 2005 when she made a career change into truck driving over the road before retiring in 2017. Tammy enjoyed being with her family and friends and making them laugh. She never met a stranger and loved to encourage and uplift her social media family and friends online, as well as leading her phone ministry.
Visitation is planned for Monday, March 4, 2024, in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM. Services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Kevin Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley.
She leaves one daughter; Jessica Lane Daugherty of Water Valley, MS; Two step sons, Chris and Steve Thompson, both of Memphis, TN; One sister, Sandra Wilder (Rocky) of Water Valley, MS; Four grandchildren; and many saddened family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Alan Thompson; her grandparents, brothers, and one child.
