Sonya Caulder

Sonya L. Caulder, age 49, of Denham Springs, LA died peacefully Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at her mother’s home in Water Valley, MS surrounded by family. She was born July 31, 1969 to James Elmer Caulder and Dianne Lott. Sonya enjoyed many things which included family, fishing, working with horses, and shopping, but nothing compared to the enjoyment of watching Alabama Football.

Visitation is planned for Friday, February 8th, 2019 in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Services will follow at 6:00 PM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Roger Mitchell and Bro. Dan Dickerson officiating.

Sonya is survived by her mother, Dianne Moon, her “Pappa”, Bruce Moon; one son, Austin Hardin of Denham Springs, LA; one daughter, Brandi Ratliff of Water Valley; two sisters, Nora Moon of Mansfield, OH, and Debbie Prescott (David) of Greenwood, MS; three brothers, Jim Caulder (Regina) of Water Valley, Craig Caulder (Angela) of Houston, MS, and Rande Moon (Kalina) of Omaha, NE; one grand-daughter, Virginia Hardin; her long time friend and partner, Buddy Waits of Denham Springs, LA; and her faithful dog CJ.

Sonya was preceded in death by her father, James Caulder.
