Rebecca Brown Moore

Rebecca B. Moore, age 91, of Water Valley, MS died Sunday, October 25, 2020, at her home. The daughter of Emmett and Letha (Mixon) Brown, she was born September 11, 1929. Rebecca worked for many years at the Kellwood Company in Coffeeville. She was a member of Sylva Rena Baptist Church and enjoyed singing, listening to music, and was especially fond of playing Rook and dominoes with her family and friends. But closest to her heart was spending time with her family.

A graveside will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 2:00 PM in Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Water Valley with Bro. Shane Crawford officiating.

Rebecca is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, Robert Moore; one son, Thomas Few (Elizabeth) of Water Valley; three daughters, Sara McNatt (James) of Water Valley, Donna Floyd (Kirby) of Grenada, Jane Jolly (Paul) of Oakland; six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; one brother, Brooks Brown of Memphis, TN; and one sister, Wilma Russum of Collierville, TN.

In addition to both of her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by four brothers, Jessie Brown, Chesterfield Brown, Calvin Brown, Robert Brown; two sisters, Juanita Zorzoli and Judy Haire.
