Raymond Alan Thompson

Raymond Alan Thompson, age 56, of Olive Branch, MS died peacefully Monday, March 23, 2020 at his home with family by his side. He was born May 17, 1963 in Memphis, TN to Rosa (McNeelis), and the late Bernard Thompson and worked in the asphalt and paving industry. He enjoyed the simple things in life, such as fishing and watching television.

A private graveside service is planned for Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Oak Hill Cemetery with Rocky Wilder, Patrick McCann, Joseph Thompson, Alexander Thompson, Otis Reddick, and Howard Smith serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Mike Adams.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Tammy Thompson of Olive Branch, MS; two sons, Christopher Thompson of Memphis, TN, Stephan Thompson of Hernando, MS; one daughter, Jess Daugherty of Water Valley, MS; five brothers, Charles Thompson, Nicholas Thompson, Timothy Thompson, all of Southaven, MS, Bernard Thompson (Vickie) of Byhalia, MS, Michael Thompson (Jackie) of Horn Lake, MS; two sisters, Marjorie Fillie of Byhalia, MS, Patricia Deen (John) of Iowa; as well as three grandchildren.

Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Thompson.
