A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Polly Peeples Edwards will be held on April 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., Coffeeville United Methodist Church, Coffeeville, Mississippi.
Polly went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2019. Born in Banner, Mississippi on March 29, 1937 to Allen Glynn and Ada Lee Howell Peeples, both deceased, she was also predeceased by a half-sister, Georgia Thomas. Polly was a member of Coffeeville United Methodist Church where she attended regularly until bad health prevented her from doing so. She was retired from Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky and moved with her husband, Marvin Edwards (deceased) to Coffeeville over 15 years ago.
Survivors include a son, Randall Wright (Cindy) of Memphis; a daughter, Lorri Ann Phillips (David) of Water Valley; four grandchildren, Brandon Wright, Wes Wright, Mary Wright and Matthew Phillips; two sisters, Patsy Peeples Upchurch (Coffeeville) and Dorothy Peeples Hicks (Collierville); two nephews, Carl Upchurch (Ann) and Robert Upchurch (Pam); and two nieces, Vicki Glidewell (Greg) and Robin Harris (Don).
Polly will be remembered as a kind, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
