Patsy Croisant

Patsy Nell Croisant, age 84, of Oxford, MS, went to her eternal home Sunday, August 27, 2023, at the Yalobusha County Nursing Home in Water Valley, MS. She was born December 14, 1938, to the late Elmer and Doris (Nelson) Mills in the Orwood Community in Lafayette County, MS.

Patsy lived her entire life in the Orwood Community until she entered the nursing home. She enjoyed the simple country life and spent most of her years as a homemaker. She and her loving husband, Billy Croisant, were married in 1963, and celebrated over 43 years of marriage until he went to his Heavenly home in 2007. Patsy had a great love for children and animals. The beautiful land in Orwood passed down from her parents was a peaceful setting for the children she would babysit and many farm animals. Fresh eggs were always a staple item at her home. She also enjoyed working with many children's ministries in her earlier years of faithful church attendance. Patsy served God faithfully throughout her life and always strived to tell others about Jesus.

Visitation is planned for Wednesday, August 30, 2023, in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow in the Henry Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Gerald Shook officiating. Burial will be in Camp Ground Cemetery.

Patsy is survived by one daughter, Tami (David) Arbuckle, of Water Valley; and one granddaughter, LaRissa Arbuckle of Mammoth Spring, AR.

In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Croisant; one brother, Wayne Mills; and two sisters, Betty Wilson and Reba McMinn.
