Mickey Glynn Nichols, Sr., age 58, of Coffeeville, MS died Monday, February 18, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. He was born January 11, 1961 in Water Valley to the late Joseph and Martha Wortham Nichols and worked many years as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, as well as finding and studying Indian artifacts. But, his children and grandchildren always held a special place in his heart.
Visitation is planned for Thursday, February 21, 2019 in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, February 22, 2019 in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Joey Williams officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Teasdale with Dakota Nichols, Colton Snyder, Nicholas Snyder, Tommy Kendall, Jr., Brent Anderson, and Jason Beavers serving as pallbearers.
Mickey is survived by one son, Mickey Nichols, Jr; one daughter, Amy Nichols; four brothers, Tommy Kendall, Carl Kendall, James Nichols, and Doug Nichols; four sisters, Sissy Anderson, Paula Fisk, Diane Stevens, and Vickie Snyder; as well as five grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Mickey was preceded in death by his wife, Jeany Nichols; five brothers, Robert (Bud) Kendall, Joseph Nichols, Jr., Noel Nichols, Dean Nichols, and Steve Nichols; and three sisters, Louise McElhaney, Geraldean Bolen, and Susie Box.
