Mack Files

Mack Files, age 57, died Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at his home in Water Valley, MS surrounded by his family. He was born August 15, 1965 in Greenwood, MS to the late Hubert Roy Files, Sr. and Shirley Anthony Files (Childs).

Mack grew up in Grenada, MS, and after leaving school, he began a career specializing in roofing. A job he would perform for more than 20 years. Mack was a caring and generous man, willing to help anyone in need. When not working, Mack loved hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers and his Harley. But nothing meant more to him than being with his family whom he loved dearly. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Mack is survived by his wife, Melinda Perkins; one son, Dustin Files; two daughters, Adrianna Tutor (Jimmy), Danielle Lamb (Beau); one grand-daughter, Cadence Tutor; one sister, Beverly Browning; and two brothers, Andy Harrison (Lacon) and Hubert "Bubba" Files (Threasa).

Mack was preceded in death by both of his parents.

The family will host a memorial service at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Sand Hill Methodist Church.
