Ladelle Robinson was born October 22, 1951 to the late Percy and Mattie (Williams) Robinson of Water Valley, MS. Ladelle departed this life for her Heavenly Home on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. After leaving Davidson High School, she began working at Holley Carburetor before spending the next 30 plus years as a USDA Food Inspector, a job from which she retired. She is described by her family as a very hard working and dedicated woman of faith. Her faith was a great testimony by the way she served in her church and loved her family. Ladelle loved reading and studying her Bible. She loved spending time with her grandkids playing "UNO" and spending late weekend nights talking with her girls. Ladelle also loved watching old black and white movies, TV classics such as Andy Griffith and Bonanza, playing bingo on her tablet, and cooking. She was known for her potato salad, German chocolate cake, and her banana pudding known in Water Valley as Aunt Delle's banana pudding. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Visitation is planned for Friday, February 24, 2023, in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. A funeral service honoring her life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Sanders Chapel with Pastor Mitchell Steen officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
