Jeannie Ann Clement, age 66, of Water Valley, MS died September 13, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford with her family by her side. She was born January 11, 1954 to the late Homer and Marjorie Greene Moxley in Belmont, MS and attended Ole Miss School of Business. She went to work in the personnel department of Holley Carburetor in Water Valley where she continued her career until she retired. She was married to Travis Clement for 31 years and was involved in many community activities, including being a member of the Town and Country Garden Club, Lifetime member of the Junior Auxiliary, a charter member of the Red Hatters, and serving as a Water Valley Ambassador. Jeannie was a faithful member of First Baptist Church and the Irene Sunday School class. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, flowers and keeping company with her beloved dog, Toby. Jeannie was loving and compassionate, and had many wonderful friends who cherished her friendship.
Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, September 16, 2020 in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home with Dr. Randy Bain officiating. Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time with burial following the service in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Jeannie is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Gray (Steven) of Horn Lake, MS, and Denise Tate of Memphis, TN; one son, Lance Clement (Andrea) of Water Valley, MS; and a very special aunt, Aunt Jolene “Jo” Stockton; nine grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Jeannie was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Travis Clement; and one sister, Cindi Michael.
