James Lee Williamson

James Lee Williamson, age 71, of Atmore, AL went to his forever home Sunday, at Sacred Heart Hospice in FL. He was born November 6, 1950, in Guam, to Dudley C., Sr., and Marie (Manalisay) Williamson. James is described by his family as being a fun, loving dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather. After graduating high school, he joined the Army National Guard with his brother, Dudley C. Williamson, Jr., proudly serving his country as an artillery gunner. He then went on to work for and retire from Miller Industries out of Chattanooga, TN, as a fabricator. In his spare time, James loved spending time at the beach soaking up the sun and watching the waves roll in, occasionally fishing while there. James was also known to be a fantastic cook, to which many people can attest to. He often competed in barbecue competitions at Memphis in May, winning multiples awards for his great food. He will be dearly missed by all those that loved and cherished him.
