James Robert (Rab) Stacy, age 68, of Water Valley, MS was born July 2, 1952 to Dorothy Stacy and the late Hubert Stacy and went to be with his Heavenly Father on June 7, 2021. He was what we would call a simple man. Rab was satisfied with just being at home and surrounded by his family. He was the most hardworking man and would never shy away from a job and when he set his mind to something, he made it happen. His work career started as just a little boy helping his dad farm their cotton fields. Rab started his working career for Mott’s Inc. (later becoming ConAgra) as a maintenance man for over 30 years. Afterwards, he went to work for Valley Tool, Inc. as a dunnage supervisor retiring in 2019 after 14 years.
Rab served our country as a member of the Army National Guard for 7 years from 1971-1978.
Rab was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather (Pappaw Rab). He was a quiet man who enjoyed and looked forward to the get-togethers with his family and lit up when grand kids were around. He enjoyed hunting and running dogs. He liked to stay busy and enjoyed working on projects that got him outside.
