James Dewitt Mize

James Mize, age 72, of Water Valley, MS died Sunday, February 17, 2019 at his home in Water Valley. He was born August 13, 1946 in Yocona, MS. And after serving in the U.S. Navy, James worked as a field superintendent in the power generating field.

He enjoyed golfing and fishing. But nothing compared to the love he had for his grandchildren.

James is survived by one daughter, Sabrina Mize of Water Valley; two sisters, Nancy Ferguson and Pam Mills; and four grandchildren, Hayden, Ashlynn, Jayse and Jax.

Along with his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife Nancy.

Family will hold a memorial service at 6:00 PM Thursday, February 21, 2019 at James' home at 2352 CR 53.
