Eva Mae Williams, age 80, of Water Valley, MS died peacefully Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Yalobusha General Hospital. She was born December 11, 1937 in Taylor, MS to the late Carlton and Francis Kimzey. Eva worked 26 years for Carothers Construction Company as their payroll clerk. Her joys were many, which included traveling with her husband Bob, working with her flowers, and watching her hummingbirds, but her greatest joy was family. Her accomplishments included being class Salutatorian and playing point guard on the girls basketball team in high school. Eva was also a long time member of O’Tuckalofa Baptist Church where she served in WMU and VBS, as well as being the church treasurer.
Visitation is planned for Saturday, November 10, 2018 at O’Tuckalofa Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Services will begin at 12:00 noon with Bro. Dan Dickerson officiating. Burial will be in Blocker Cemetery in Olive Branch, MS.
Eva is survived by her husband of 34 years, Bob Williams; one son, Tim Mills (Lisa) all of Water Valley, MS; two step sons, Robert Williams Jr. (Sherry) , and Barry Williams (Kay) ;and one step daughter, Pam Pierce all of Olive Branch, MS; four grand children, Mandy Beard, Brittany Scero, Austin Reece, and Tanner Mills; seven step-grandchildren Jason Williams, Matt Currie, Nick Pierce, Reed Williams, Mary Williams, Michael Meziere, and Nicole Caldwell; as well as ten great-grandchildren
Eva was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Kimzey; and one grandson, Bobby Williams.
