Elton Leroy “Lee“ Hall, age 74, of Enid, MS died peacefully Monday, July 15, 2019 at Delta Hospice in Southaven, MS. He was born February 10, 1945 in Tallahatchie Co. to the late Leroy and Mae Bell (Miles) Hall. After high school, Elton worked at and eventually became manager over several cotton gins during the sixties. Desiring to be his own boss, Elton started, and operated, his own trucking company until his retirement. His joys were many, which included playing guitar, singing, and tinkering around with old car and motorcycles.
Visitation is planned for Wednesday, July 17, 2019 in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Jerry King officiating. Burial will be in Jumpers Chapel Cemetery with Jamie Stewart, Hayden Carpenter, Jr., Danny Patton, Michael Price, Jonathan Stewart, and Oly Ritchie serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Dewey Price.
Elton is survived by one daughter, Angie Stewart (Richard); five grandchildren, Jennifer Stewart, Jamie Stewart, Robi Anderson, Becki Anderson, and Kayla Anderson; two sisters, Sylvia Hall Burton-McKnight (Jerry), and Rachel Hall Carpenter (Hayden); one aunt, Ruby Miles Kehoe; numerous nieces and nephews; and very special friends, Billy and Wanda Smallwood and Billy Dees.
Along with his parents, Elton was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Hall; one son, Tommy Anderson; one brother, Charles L. Hall; and one sister, Mattie Sue Hall Hopper.
