Edna Lynn Harwell

Edna Lynn Harwell, age 53, of Water Valley, MS died peacefully Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS. She was born April 29, 1966 in Water Valley to the Shirley Strickland Baker, and the late Robert Edward Baker and was a homemaker. She enjoyed all types of music, and watching Nascar. But nothing meant more to her than her family, which she loved to cook for. Her favorite dish to prepare was Chicken Rotel.

Visitation is planned for Friday, September 27, 2019 in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Raymond Aven officiating. Burial will be in Elam Cemetery in Coffeeville.

Edna is survived by one son, Brandon Harwell of Coffeeville, MS; one daughter, Samantha Vanlandingham of Pittsboro, MS, her mother, Shirley Strickland Baker of Water Valley, MS; three brothers, Ronnie Allen of Calhoun City, MS, Robert Allen, and Keith Baker, both of Water Valley, MS; four grandchildren, Ava Vanlandingham, Zachary Vanlandingham, William Vanlandingham, and Savannah Vanlandingham; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Edna was preceded in death by her father, Robert Edward Baker.
