Charles Lenard Stone

Charles Lenard Stone, age 82, of Water Valley, MS died Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. He was born August 13, 1938 in Water Valley to the late James and Ardelle (Littleton) Stone. After graduating from High School, Charles attended college for a short time before returning to Water Valley to become a purchasing agent at Ram Tool Inc. Charles was a soft spoken man, and very much respected, not only by his family, but the entire community. Being the father of three boys, Charles mentored them, and others, as he coached their youth baseball teams. His joys were fishing, hunting, especially squirrel, and being a father and husband.

Visitation is planned for Sunday September 20, 2020 in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Jerry Holt officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Charles is survived by three sons, Keith Stone (Jackie) of Conway, AR, Hoyt Stone (Kay), and Sandy Stone (Tena) all of Water Valley, MS.

Along with his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Shirley Stone.
