Carolyn L. Adams, surrounded by her family, left this world peacefully to go to her heavenly home on Sunday, May 29th 2022.
Born October 7th, 1944, her parents were the late Hosea and Lou Bratton Logan of Water Valley, Mississippi. She was 77 years of age and a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church.
After retiring from the former Holley Carburetor Production Plant here in Water Valley, she spent her time caring for her family as well as the sick and shut-in. As her own health diminished, she continued her care of others through cards and daily phone calls.
She loved The Lord, Bible study, phone ministry, her family, and friends. She enjoyed cooking, bird watching, and feeding animals.
Visitation is planned for Wednesday, June 1, 2022, in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Kevin Stewart officiating. Carolyn will be laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery.
She leaves behind daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Rocky Wilder of Water Valley; daughter, Tammy Thompson of Water Valley; granddaughters, Heidi Wilder of Water Valley and Jessica Daugherty of Taylor; a sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Freddie Kelley of Oxford; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends who will greatly miss her presence.
