Bonnie S. Smith

Bonnie Sue Smith, age 63, of Water Valley, MS died Thursday, June 4, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. She was born April 19, 1957, in Pope, MS to the late Joseph and Anna (Moorehead) Hutchins. Bonnie loved people, and never met a stranger. She served her family as a homemaker, and enjoyed flowers, cooking, and children. She was a member of Goodway United Pentecostal Church of Locke Station.

Visitation is planned for Monday, June 8, 2020, in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Services will begin at 3:00 PM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Mike Dutton officiating.

Bonnie leaves behind to cherish her memory, one brother, Joe Rico of Water Valley; one sister, Cindy Pittman (Mack) of Batesville, MS; one Aunt, Carolyn Hutchins of Water Valley, and a host of nieces and nephews that will miss her very much.

Along with her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, James Smith; and her foster parents, George and Ann Rico.
