Betty Griffin

Betty Sanders Griffin, age 76, of Water Valley, MS died Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Yalobusha County Hospital. She was born August 21, 1942 in Bruce, MS to the late Ivan and Christine Sanders and worked different management positions in the food service industry. She enjoyed reading and gardening.

Betty is survived by two sons, Michael Griffin (Angel) and Jeff Griffin (Jessi); one daughter Christy Gentry (Eddie) all of Pontotoc, MS; as well as 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Along with her parents, Betty was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Melba Warren and Shirley Schmitz; as well as two brothers, Billy and Richard Sanders.

The family is planning a memorial service at Tutor's Funeral Home in Pontotoc December 8, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
