Barbara Ann Raley

Barbara Ann Raley, age 72, of Water Valley, MS died peacefully Saturday, September 7, 2019 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. She was born February 5, 1947 in Calhoun County to the late Clinton Smith and Vera Keel and worked her entire career as a secretary in retail sales. She enjoyed flower gardening, and sharing her love and compassion for those in need by being a caregiver. Barbara was a member of Driver’s Flat church where she had, at one time, been ladies Sunday School teacher.

Visitation is planned for Wednesday, September 11, 2019 in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Stacy Watkins officiating. Burial will be in Keel Cemetery with Charles Keel, Austin Hernandez, Rupert Edwards, David Pope, Robert Calder, and Brent Turner serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Braxton Hernandez, Conner Calder, Devin Keel, and Jay Keel.

Barbara is survived by her four brothers, Charles Keel (Sandi), Billy Keel (Cindy), and James Keel, all of Water Valley, MS, and John Keel of Coffeeville, MS.

Along with her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Lois Mooney.
